Do you like movies? Are you a baller? Are you on a budget? If you answered yes to all three, then lucky for you, Sony brings you a midpriced 3D projector, the VPL-HW30ES. Its key feature, Sony’s High Frame Rate SXRD Panel (1920 x 1080), helps sharpen and smooth motion, while also reducing motion blur and 3D crosstalk, i.e. ghosting. It comes with a 70,000:1 contrast ratio and its air discharge system dampens operating sound, leaving you to focus on the movie. Slip on Sony’s new active shutter glasses, the TDG-PJ1 (available separately). They weigh about 59 grams and charge in 30 minutes, giving you 30 hours of continuous run time. The VPL-HW30ES retails for approximately $4700 and rolls out in Europe and Japan beginning July.
