In some circles, like say, at the Vivid production offices, five inches isn’t considered a lot. But in the world of smartphones, it’s a monstrosity. The HTC Droid DNA ($200, Verizon) is packing a five-inch screen, meaning there’s a ton of room for videos and pictures to shine on the 1080p Super LCD3 display. Despite the very reasonable two-bills price tag, the guts of the DNA are most impressive: 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB of RAM, and what appears to be some great tools for picture takers, with a 2.1MP front-facing camera that takes 1080p video and an 8MP camera around back.
