Seeing as it’s mid-January and we just got past the scientifically proven most depressing day of the year, you probably need something to perk you up. Well here it is: the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. Chevy knows it has something special here, hence the dusting off of the Stingray moniker which has only been used twice in the Corvette’s long and storied history. Besides the speed demon looks, the new ‘Vette features a 6.2-liter, direct-injected V-8 engine that creates some 450 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque, leading the in-house experts to speculate that this thing will do 0-60 in under 4 seconds. Factor in better fuel economy and a sweet 8-inch touchscreen and there may actually be a reason to get out of bed in January.
