2012 BMW 3-Series Sedan

BMW just introduced the 2012 BMW 3 Series Sedan. This year’s theme appears to be fuel efficiency in a wider, yet lighter frame. Start off by selecting from the Sport, Luxury, Modern Lines or the M Sport packages. Use your imagination and you can pretty much figure out the difference between the different lines. The 2012 models are just a bit wider and longer by a few inches. Select from the 6-cylinder N55 engine in the BMW 335i. This gives you 300HP and 0-60 mph in 5.4 seconds. The 328i, which offers less fuel consumption, is a turbocharged 4-cylinder (N20) engine, goes from 0-60 mph in 5.7 seconds and hits 240HP. Both engines use BMW’s TwinPower Turbo technology.

Added features this year includes an 8-speed automatic for better fuel economy and more fluidity when shifting. ECOPRO mode further optimizes your fuel consumption, perfecting a balance between pedal use and gear shifting, along with heating and air-conditioning adaptation. The Head-Up Display brings you even further into the future by beaming important information onto the windshield, such as a lane change warning or applicable speed limit and GPS information. Look for the 2012 BMW 3 Series Sedan on US shores in February 2012.
