Much like a stocky bulldog, the new Harman/Kardon MAS 102 packs much punch in its compact body. Two speaker cabinets with detachable grilles house powerful, 5-inch mid-bass drivers and 1-inch MMD tweeters. The MAS 102 includes a slot-loading cd player, dual USB ports, multiple digital and analog inputs and a phono input for turntables.

Surprisingly missing is built-in iPod/iPhone connectivity. Instead, you’ll need to purchase the separate Bridge III docking station. A minor omission for a stylish, H/K system.
