ZBoard: Weight-Sensing Electric Skateboard

Is an electric-powered skateboard the greenest idea in the world? Probably not. But you know what? F it. The ZBoard (now funding at Kickstarter) is pretty damn cool anyway, what with its lean-forward-to-go, lean-back-to-stop motion system. With a top speed of 17 mph and a range of 5 – 10 miles per charge, you’re gonna save a lot of tread on your sneakers…tread that will come in handy when you’re running away from the PC police who wanna question you about why you’re riding an electric skateboard.

Bart Simpson Limited Edition Slasher Skateboard

It may seem like The Simpsons has been on TV forever, but someday – and perhaps soon – the show’s illustrious run could end. If that thought makes you want to have a domesticated bovine, then you should really be savoring this Sunday’s 500th episode. The limited edition Bart Slasher Skateboard Deck will help you in that endeavor, what with there only being 500 laser engraved numbered units produced and the big 500 logo splashed on it. It’s based on the original Santa Cruz Skateboards Keith Meek Slasher Pro Model (10″ x 31.25″), and made of 7-ply Maple. Mmmm… Maple.

Paul Smith x Alien Workshop Skateboard

Sadly, this new, totally bada– skateboard can’t be shipped to the US or Canada due to shipping and customs regulations, and there are only 200 available for purchase. But for those fortunate enough to get their hands on it, the new Paul Smith Alien Workshop Skateboard, priced at $115, features a Paul Smith Stripe branded card and measures 8.375in x 31.75in. Each board is constructed from 7 veneers of hard rock maple, and each veneer layer has been custom stained to match the infamous Paul Smith stripes. On the bottom, the board features the same graphics seen on the Paul Smith Jeans collection. So as to not suck this board dry of its coolness, just don’t wear your Smith jeans while riding on your Smith board.
