Created to work harmoniously with Apple’s sleek MacBook Pro keyboards, the thin adhesive-backed wood pieces adhere to the keys firmly and the characters and symbols are laser cut with precision. And OK, yes, granny’s molasses were horrible, but you can’t deny that slop still rolled off the tongue beautifully!

Apple 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display

Apple’s new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display (starting at $1,699) is all like “Heyyy, look at my screeeen!” and while we normally don’t fall for such sophomoric attempts at PR, we do have to pay attention here. The new model is 20% thinner than the previous 13-incher, and with  227 pixels per inch and a 2560 x 1600 screen resolution, your family photos* should look amazingly vivid and clear; though the lack of a discrete graphics card is certainly a con. Battery life is supposedly gonna be sweet at seven hours thanks to the 74-watt battery.

If the idea of putting an artistic spin on one of Apple’s hallmark products sounds tempting, the Modbook Pro ($ TBA) may be the tablet tablets keep tabs on (nice one, eh?). They call it “the world’s most powerful and largest-screen tablet computer” because it’s actually based on a rebuilt 13-inch MacBook Pro. One of the key features is the state-of-the-art pen tablet digitizer which offers 512 levels of pen pressure sensitivity, so yes, if you’re wondering, you can totally draw your uncle in the nude with this thing.  What!? I’m just saying! If you want to, you can!
