Mercedes GLA Edition 1: Compact SUV With Major Comforts

The new compact SUV from Mercedes-Benz, the GLA, is already being given the limited edition treatment. In March 2014 the GLA Edition 1 will come sauntering into showrooms with a bevy of upgrades. Bi-xenon headlamps, 19-inch AMG light-alloy wheels finished in high-gloss black, a black radiator grille louvre with chrome inserts, black-painted exterior mirrors, black waistline trim strips and dark-tinted glass starting from the B-pillars are among the exclusive appointments. It’ll come in four funky colors, including something quite deliciously called ‘designo magno mountain grey.’

Range Rover Autobiography: Big Enough For Both Little League Teams

Those postgame trips for ice cream are among the best memories we have from our Little League careers. But cramming into the coach’s dirty pickup truck… eh. If the kids deserve ice cream, don’t they also deserve to ride in a first-class SUV? The long-wheelbase Range Rover ($227,00) features an amazing amount of legroom and recline-ability for the rear seats. There’s also automatic window blinds, a panoramic sunroof and a sliding front passenger seat. And if that’s not enough for the little snot-nosed runts, the new Autobiography Black trim level ups the luxury ante even more. Kids these days.

Jeep Wrangler and Liberty Arctic Special Editions

Just in time for wintery mixes, slippery roads, and freezing temperatures, Jeep is rolling out Arctic variations of the Wrangler and Liberty, both equipped inside and out with winter-like accents. The 2012 Wrangler Arctic sports a body-color hard top and fender flares along with special Arctic badges. The interior flaunts crisp polar white accents with orange seat piping. Included in the package are 17-inch semi-gloss black wheels, but contrary to this Jeep’s winter them, the package does not included.

The 2012 Jeep Liberty Arctic offers one additional color, and includes the same Arctic badges outside. The inside comes complete with special edition colors and an Arctic logo embroidered on the seat backs. Both models come in three colors (with the Liberty offering 1 more): Winter Chill, Bright Silver or Bright White. And, of course, these rugged Special Edition Jeeps would not be complete without the universal symbol for “Arctic”, the Yeti, which is proudly displayed with decals on both models.
