Diesel’s gotten a bad rap over the years, but with more advanced engine technology and more refining of the fuel, it’s a strong alternative to consider. In fact, diesel produces more power. That’s probably one of the reasons the new Trident Iceni runs on it.  After trying the car, Kenny Habul said that the Iceni hits a top speed of over 190 mph, goes 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds and produces 395 hp. Get the performance upgrade pack and it can produce 930 horsepower. You’d think it’d be a gas guzzler, but one gallon gets 58 miles. Fork over $162,000 and it’s all yours.
